You shouldn't have to explain your nervous system before you can trust someone with your body. Every trainer in this directory has completed our Trauma-Informed Personal Training Certification — which means they get what it means to move at the pace of safety, to read a room (and a nervous system) before pushing a rep count, and to hold space for a client's full history without making them recount it.
This is a community of movement professionals who've done the work: trainers, coaches, and practitioners who bring consent, curiosity, and nervous system awareness into every session — so you can focus on showing up for yourself, not managing someone else's reactions.
Every trainer listed here has completed our certification and asked to be included, because they want to be found by clients who are specifically looking for this kind of care.
What "Certified" Means Here
Every trainer listed has completed our full Trauma-Informed Personal Training (TI-PT) Certification. That means they've trained in:
- Recognizing nervous system dysregulation and adjusting a session in real time
- Supporting client coregulation and building a "brave space" for embodied work
- Applying the Window of Tolerance to movement and strength training
- Body-inclusive, consent-driven, Health At Every Size®–aligned programming
- Holding space for somatic release without stepping outside their scope of practice
They're not therapists (unless they happen to also be one) — they're trainers who understand trauma-informed care well enough to be a genuinely safe, skilled part of your healing team.

A Note on This Directory
This directory exists to help you find someone who's completed our Trauma-Informed Personal Training Certification — nothing more, and nothing less. Completing the certification means a trainer has trained with us in trauma-informed principles; it isn't an endorsement of their business, their approach outside of what we've taught, or the working relationship you'll build together. We aren't in an ongoing supervisory or business relationship with the trainers listed here, and we don't receive any referral fees, commissions, or other compensation for connecting you with them.
Every client relationship is its own — different bodies, different needs, different fit. We encourage you to talk with a trainer directly, ask questions, and trust your own sense of whether it feels right before you begin working together. We're proud of what this certification teaches, and we can't guarantee the outcome of any individual working relationship, so we aren't able to take responsibility for a trainer's day-to-day practice once they're out in the world using what they've learned.
If something doesn't feel right with a listed trainer, or you'd like to share feedback about your experience, please reach out. We take feedback seriously and it helps us keep this directory meaningful.
